How to Become a Supporter or Sponsor

The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Education Foundation, Inc., is governed by its own Board of Trustees and has received a U.S. Internal Revenue Service 501(c-3) tax ruling.

Corporate sponsor
For a donor who makes a contribution to the CHTAEF of $10,000+ per year over a four-year period, will have the scholarship program named in honor of the donor. In addition, the donor, or designee, will be granted a seat on the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and receive recognition at CHAEF events.

Sponsor
Donors who commit to a contribution of $5,000 - $10,000 per year over a four-year period, will have one scholarship awarded annually in the name of the donor.

Patron
Donors who make a contribution of $2000 to $5000 per year over a four-year period, will be named as co-sponsor of a scholarship award annually.

Supporter
Supporters of contributions of $1,000 and up on a given year, are entitled to make recommendations about the disbursement of the funds - for instance, to be destined to a particular destination or for studies in a specific academic area).

Friend
Every cent counts and all levels of contribution are welcome and appreciated; all donations that do not fall under the categories above are deposited in the general scholarship fund, with due recognition to the donors.

Contributors can take advantage of The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Foundation's 501 (c-3) tax status.
