STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts Worldwide offers an annual US$9,000 scholarship for Professional Development. Starwood is committed to improving the communities in which their hotels and resorts stand. Starwood strives to enrich the quality of life in the communities we serve around the world. Starwood focuses its charitable giving in the concentrated areas of education, children, health-related causes, cultural institutions, humanitarian projects, and varied diversity partnerships; as such the company willingly partnered with CHTAEF to provide professional development scholarships to nationals of the Caribbean destinations the Starwood organization serves. CHTAEF welcomed FirstCaribbean Bank in the second half of 2007 as a new Corporate Sponsor, with two scholarships of US$5,000 each, for a total of $10,000 annually. CIBC-FirstCaribbean International Bank’s continued support of CHTAEF responds to the company's commitment to community involvement, proud to be an integral part of nearly 90 communities around the Caribbean region.  As a result, their philosophy focuses primarily on the good that their programs are able to achieve, rather than on the act of giving. is a fast-growing travel auction marketplace where you can buy airline tickets, room nights, tours, cruises and all-inclusive vacations.
