The Caribbean Tourism COVID-19 Task Force which includes CHTA, launched health and safety guidelines to guide the reopening of the tourism industry in the region to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The guidelines address the core protocols required within four key tourism sub-sectors – ground transportation; accommodation; food and beverage operations; and sites and attractions.
To support these guidelines, the Caribbean Tourism Health Safety Training Series was rolled out to provide training for critical points on the continuum of the traveler’s experience at the destination. We encourage CHTA Members and welcome Non-Members to register for the Training Series.

On behalf of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association – we thank our facilitators CARPHA, CTO, and Ecolab for their participation at the Caribbean Tourism Health & Safety Training Series. We greatly appreciate all who attended and we will be sending certificates of participation to the individuals within 30 days of the training series.
