Raymond Joseph

Chefs, food aficionados and food & beverage industry professionals alike bid a mournful farewell to Chef Raymond Joseph who died of cancer over the weekend of July 8th. Members of the Trinidad and Tobago National Culinary Team, which Joseph formerly led, attended his funeral.

Born and grown in Snake Valley, Laventille, the youngest of five children, Joseph attended Eastern Boys in Port-of-Spain and later Success/Laventille Composite and South East Port-of-Spain Secondary. He attended the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI) in Chaguaramas, which was his dream. Joseph is remembered for his kindness, his mentorship and skill as a chef.  He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
