To form the Curaçao Culinary Team for Taste of the Caribbean, CHATA organizes the Curaçao Culinary Competitions to be held in February 2016. Different workshops are being organized; Bartender, Pastry and Chefs workshops. These workshops are for local Senior Chefs, Junior Chefs (till 21 years old), Pastry Chefs and Bartenders which work in CHATA hotels and restaurants.
The Chefs (Senior & Junior) workshop will be held on Monday January 25th and the Pastry workshop will be held on Tuesday January 26th. The workshops are from 15:00 – 17:00 hrs, location still to be announced. The participants must bring a prepared main dish (fish, chicken or beef) which will be evaluated by the judges. The same applies to the participating Pastry Chefs. The workshops are held by International Culinary judge: Henny Kolenbrander (Pointsnack) and Pastry Chef of Sta. Barbara Beach & Golf Resort; Wouter Tjeertjes.
The Judges Bartender workshop will be held on Wednesday January 27th, the Bartender workshop and Practice Bartender Battle on Friday January 29th. A recipe has no soul; you as a cook must bring soul to it, are you the ingredient to spice the Curaçao Culinary events up, than register immediately!
